The European freelancers’ movement is expanding rapidly as more organizations spring up to represent the voice of independent workers in their countries.
Today four new organizations joined the European Forum of Independent Professionals, the peak coalition of national freelancers’ associations.
Organizations from Croatia, Romania, Poland and Spain were officially welcomed into EFIP at a meeting in Rome today.
They join the existing member organizations from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, bringing the total number of organizations in EFIP to sixteen, and the total number of countries covered to ten.
The new EFIP members are:
- Croatian Independent Professionals Association (HDNP)
- Spanish Union of Professionals and Self-Employed (UPTA)
- Romanian Freelancers Association
- Polish Association of Self-Employed and Freelancers
